Amal Journey- Stepping In
Amal Fellowship is a 3 month journey that prepare you with those skills that are required in Professional career but most people are not aware of these skills or they don't know where to use these skills. They guide you to prepare Super Resume, Super Cover letter and Professional linked in profile. Also they prepare you for their mock interviews and provide you proper feedback considering your complete profile. Mega Project is a most important part of this Fellowship but it should remain surprise to newcomers.
This wonderful journey is about to end for me with one last session to go. But lets go back in that time when this Fellowship started. I was too excited for this journey and if I would have to visualize this experience, I would do it with below given image
I found this shirt in my friend’s collection and I really liked it when I saw it the first time, only I had to cross the mid part of this shirt to represent my correct experience. I don’t know why the emojis are not on mark but still it represents me and what I could come up with :).
I still remember the first online course “Knowing Yourself”. This course does let me explore my strengths and also teaches me what improvements I need. The story of Fauja Singh was too motivating and convincing. The video where Steve Jobs explained the concept of “Connecting and dots” helped me make my Life map and during our session I shared my Life map with fellows in breakout room and they really liked it and their Life map was too loving with their Life story.
Also remember the discussion on Saad and Zara case which we did in Group meeting on Zoom which taught me the importance of everyone’s point of view and how to respect that.
Through that I knew, this journey is going to make a great change in my life, personality and nature, as I was Introvert person. I was expecting that 3 months time period would be short for this change but with proper learning and adapting Amal values, anyone can do it.
What I discovered in this journey is that what I was before, that was not actually me but what I am now, it is my true self and I was for waiting this change and thanks to Amal, you did it.
At the end, I would say that the only bad thing about this Fellowship is that is End’s but what you learnt remains with you Forever
